THUNDER SELECT TEAMS
A
component of West Seattle Girls Softball is the West Seattle Thunder
Select program. The WS Thunder will be starting its 6th year this
fall. WS Thunder is a select girls softball organization of teams that
play weekend tournaments in the spring and summer.
WS Thunder select
teams are designed to compliment the West Seattle Girls Softball spring
league, giving girls who have the ability and desire to play more
competitive softball the opportunity to play against teams from around
the state- some even from Oregon and British Columbia.
Practices and
game schedules are coordinated to allow Thunder players to participate
fully in the spring league. In fact, it is strongly encouraged that any
girl playing on a Thunder team also plays in the spring rec league.
