PHILOSOPHY
West Seattle Girls Softball is a West Seattle community league for girls who live and/or go to school in the greater West Seattle area.
Our Spring league is available to any girl, ages 7-14 (K-8), in the West Seattle area that wishes to play softball. We offer a supportive environment where girls develop the basic skills of softball, learn the value of "team attitude," engage in friendly competition, and most importantly, have fun!
The WSGS is a non-profit organization run by a dedicated group of volunteers. Our only goal is to ensure the best possible experience for our girls. We welcome any suggestion and have plenty of volunteer opportunities (no previous softball experience required).
In addition to the Spring league, the West Seattle Thunder Select teams (www.westseattlethunder.org) are available to girls with the desire and ability to play at a higher level of competitiveness.
